As mentioned previously, Saturday 29th of June at Manchester Central was Quadrigloo's first ever official showcase! After weeks of planning and organising we put together a bright blue and white stall filled with activities to engage and introduce you all to the brand and what we are about.
Class was in session!
Upon arriving at our stall, attendees had the opportunity to take part in a mini re-enactment of how Quadrigloo came about. With 10 subjects to choose from, art and history being top picks, participants would be handed a worksheet and given the task of sticking them into their workbooks with the traditional round glue stick versus our brand new Square Glue Stick. Needless to say, with our square model, the corners were stuck to perfection with half the effort. Our favourite comment from this activity came from primary school teacher, Jane, who beamed
“I've worked in schools for almost 40 years and never in my life have I seen a square glue stick!”
Along with the phrase:
"It just makes sense”
which was heard countlessly throughout the day. Amongst all the wonderful things noted about our unusually shaped adhesive, teachers were particularly pleased with no longer having to worry about the sticks longer rolling off the table, which is certainly a plus. And of course there was the touching highlights of the many pupils and students whose eyes lit up at the idea of wowing their peers with the freshest item in their pencil case.

A few steps to the right took you over to our scrapbook station where you were met with the lovely Karina for fun flicks of the day. We had the instant camera and you had the energy.
It was decor galore with ribbons, glitter, pastels, pom-poms and so much more. Memories of the eventful day were gathered and pieced together to be framed and treasured.
Quadrigloo was definitely not short of attention at StationeryFest with numerous other stall holders intrigued and delighted with our appearance. The support and enthusiasm from everyone was remarkable and we can’t wait for next year with even more activities planned already!
